If you’ve been around these parts for a while, you’ll know that I like to do a spot of shopping every once and again, especially when the seasons change. So, now that we’re in the throws of summer, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to have a browse.
In addition to some new summery selections for my wardrobe, I invested a few pennies in some beauty products too, which is what I’m going to be sharing with you today.
LUSH

I love the values that are at the core of LUSH, but I’ve never tried any of their products before. So, on a mission to rectify that, I picked up Mmmelting Marshmallow Moment. It’s shrouded in a sweet scent, but it’s not too overpowering. I’m very excited to give this one a go!
SUPERDRUG

 Â
My nail polish collection is steadily growing, but I wasn’t going to let that stunt the purchase of a couple more, of course… These two lilac purple shades from the Barry M ‘Speedy, quick dry’ are the perfect fit for summer, wouldn’t you agree?.
If you’re after the shade names then the darker purple is ‘Need For Speed’, and the lilac tone is ‘Lap of honour’.
PAPERCHASE

 Â
Paperchase is another realm I hadn’t entered before, but the hype that surrounds their offering has always intrigued me.
I’m not a huge stationary person since I can’t see to indulge in such things, but I’ve been randomly wanting a scrapbook in order to store some of my memories for a while now. I can still see colours and the brightness of this cover definitely caught my attention.
BOOTS
Last, but not least, were a few beauty purchases from Boots.

 Â
Soap & Glory’s Hand Food is one of my favourite hand creams, it’s the perfect remedy for my dry skin. I’ve only owned the mini version of this, so an investment in the full size product was a must.

The S&G Calm One, Calm All bubble bath has been on my wishlist for a little while. Coming in at £6, it might be a tad pricey for a bubble bath, but we love that luxury feel.

To complete the 3 for 2 offer that was on S&G at the time (we never dismiss a bargain around here), my pick was the Righteous butter. The creamy body moisturiser comes complete with the classic Soap & Glory scent, making it very dreamy!

I’m not done with the nail polish purchases just quite yet; The Revlon Colorstay gel envy nail polish in the shade ‘350 Full House’ is a stunning turquoise colour – the perfect ode to the summer months, if you ask me.
What have been some recent summer purchases of yours? What are you drawn to most, beauty or fashion? I’d love to know what lures you to depart with your money.
Also, I’d love to know if you’ve tried any of these products, what’s your favourite at the moment?

Leslie's Notes
That’s a lot of shopping. I have not tried any of the products you featured. At this point I am looking for products that take wrinkles away and I’m finding that they are all quite expensive. I still love my coconut oil for my very dry skin.

Have you tried Benefit (https://www.benefitcosmetics.com/)? They make a lot of amazing things, too. Makeup, skin care products, all sorts of things! Given the look of some of the other products you picked up, it seems like it might be right up your alley! Nice haul! How’s that purple nail polish turning out? It looks gorgeous!
