KIKO Milano make-up haul

It’s no secret that I am slightly obsessed with all things beauty and makeup, I love finding out about new and exciting brands and trying out some of their products. KIKO Milano is a brand I’ve wanted to try for a while now so when I realised that they had a shop in the St David’s shopping centre in Cardiff, I couldn’t let the opportunity to pop in whilst I was down there pass by.

It’s fair to say that my trip to KIKO was a successful one as I bought six new products to add to my ever-growing makeup collection. A bit excessive? Maybe. But, in my defence there was an offer on at the time which meant that if I bought three items, I got another three for free meaning that I only paid £25 for all of these gorgeous products, bargain!

KIKO full coverage concealer

KIKO full coverage concealer

The first item I picked up was their full coverage concealer. This is a cream concealer which comes in a small round pot which has a little mirror inside, it’s a perfect size for anyone’s handbag. The consistency is quite a thick one, supporting its full coverage statement. I’ve only used it a couple of times but so far, so good. I apply it with my fingers since I find it’s easier that way and it gives a nicer finish when applied like that rather than when using a brush. I’ll be sure to keep you updated as I start to use it more often.

KIKO shade fusion blush

Shade fusion blush

Isn’t this just one of the prettiest blushers you’ve ever seen? The silver mirrored packaging is beautiful to begin with before even considering the product itself. I picked up the shade 04. It’s a beautiful three toned blush ranging from a pale pink at the top to a darker pink at the bottom.  Again, I haven’t had many opportunities to wear it yet but every time I swatch it on the back of mind, I’m in awe of its pigmentation and the beautiful flush of colour it provides. Definitely a keeper!

KIKO long lasting eyeshadow stick

Long lasting eyeshadow stick – number 07

This product was the reason for my visit in the first place, I’ve heard so many great reviews about it and it’s a product I’ve wanted to try for a while.  Gold/champagne coloured eyeshadows are my favourite shades to wear and I thought this would be a quick and easy product to apply on a day-to-day basis. It’s really pigmented and very creamy, I love it.

KIKO water eyeshadow in a silver shade

Water eyeshadow – 229

I picked up three of the water eyeshadows, the first one being this beautiful silver shade. They can be used with or without water and although the pigment is lovely when dry, you can’t beat the result when you use them with water.

KIKO water eyeshadow in a purper/lavender shade

Water eyeshadow – 228

I’ve heard that purple is THE shade for green-eyed girls like me so when my mum told me that there was a purple shade as part of this range, I had to pick it up. I’ve never tried to wear purple shades on my eyes before but I’m going to give this a whirl and see how I get on with it. Also I think this will be the perfect shade for the autumn/winter season.

KIKO water eyeshadow in a gold shade

Water eyeshadow – 200

On to my favourite shade of all the water eyeshadow, this gold colour shadow is absolutely stunning, especially when used with water. I am all about that golden eye make-up look so I couldn’t leave this on the shelf. I’d go as far as to say that this is one of my favourite beauty purchases so far this year. If you’re all about those gold, shimmery eyes then you need to add this to your collection.

Have you ever tried any products by KIKO before? Or do you have any on your wish list? I’d love to hear any recommendations you might have.

Elin x
