Hello everyone and welcome back to My Blurred World.
I hope you’re all doing really well.
I thought I’d share a post about my favourite memories of 2016 with you all today as I think these kinds of posts are quite interesting and it’s also a nice thing to look back on.
I hope you all enjoy today’s post and without further ado let’s begin.
Meeting my best friend
On the 29th of August I met one very special girl who is of course my best friend, Holly. I’m sure most of you will know of her as we do a blog series together called ‘Seeing through sight loss’ and I’ve mentioned her quite a few times in my posts. We both met in Manchester back in August and it was an amazing day. We had been talking online for about a year before hand so it was so lovely to finally meet in person. I wrote a post all about that day which you can read here if you want to hear more about it.
My 18th birthday
I turned 18 back in July and even though the day of my birthday was simple and a day spent with family it was so lovely. It was a day that I felt very happy within myself and I loved spending it with the people I love. I went out for a meal with friends a couple of nights before my birthday which was also so lovely and I had so much fun. My birthday this year is one I’ll remember forever.
Being offered my first job
Back in May I attended an interview for a job that I was interested in and I honestly thought I did awful in the interview and that I didn’t elaborate enough on my answers but to my shock I received a phone call a couple of hours after the interview and was offered the job. A big smile spread across my face and I just jumped up and down in delight, I was so excited! I felt very content at this point because I knew that I’d achieved something amazing. You can read all about my first job here.
My holiday in Cardiff
I’d been to Cardiff once before as a child but I didn’t remember much of it so I was very excited to go back with my family. It was one of my favourite holidays as it was so relaxed and we had planned everything we wanted to do. It was such a nice break away and something I really enjoyed. I think my happiest moments of summer this year were in Cardiff.
My A Levels results day
I felt extremely nervous on the morning of the results day but after I received them I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome. I didn’t do very well in my exams last year so I was very nervous about this year’s results but I was so happy that I achieved the grades I desired. I went out for supper that night with my mum, brother and nan and it was just so nice to spend time with them without having any major worries. It was a really good day for me.
That concludes my post for today everyone, I hope you all enjoyed it. Do let me know what your favourite memory/memories of this year are as I would love to hear from you.
Thank you so much for reading today’s post, I hope you have a lovely day/evening.
