  • My winter essentials

Hello everyone and welcome back to My Blurred World.

I hope you’re all doing really well.

Today we have yet another blogmas post and it’s all about my winter essentials.

I hope you all enjoy today’s post and without further ado let’s begin.

The photo above displays my first essential which is the Baylis and Harding jojoba, silk and almond oil body lotion. As you can probably tell this isn’t looking it’s finest at the moment as I’ve used it quite a lot. This product smells absolutely divine and it’s also very moisturizing which is perfect for those colder months.

My next essential is my Christmas spotify playlist. I recently wrote a post about my Christmas playlist which you can read here if you’re interested. I absolutely love Christmas music and I listen to it non-stop when December comes around.

I think lip balm is an essential for everyone come winter time. My favourite at the moment it this Nivea lip butter. There’s nothing more to say about this really, it’s just a really good lip balm.

Another essential of mine is touch screen gloves. I have plain black ones which I didn’t take a photo of as I don’t find them to be the most interesting item to take a photo of. But touch screen gloves are a must-have for me as first of all I get really cold hands and second of all I love going on my phone so touch screen gloves are the way to go.

Moving on to nail polish, the ones shown in the above photo are both by Essie. I believe that they are both a part of their Christmas collection (I’m not sure if they’re still available to buy as I bought them last year). They are both very festive shades, the red one (on the left) is called ‘Toggle to the top’ which is a beautiful sparkly red shade that I wore on Christmas day last year and absolutely loved it. Then we have a black one with a lot of colourful glitter in it which is perfect for parties or new years eve in my opinion, this one is called Belugaria’. As they are Essie they are also very long wearing which is perfect in my opinion.

Finally we have the Urban Decay ultimate basics eyeshadow palette. I recently purchased this as I wanted to try out a new eyeshadow palette and I’ve heard great things about this one plus it was on sale at the time so it was a win win situation really wasn’t it? This is a beautiful palette which includes twelve gorgeous matte shades which in my opinion are perfect for the winter season. The top row consists of six cool toned shades whilst the bottom row is focused more on warm toned shades. It’s a beautiful palette and I can’t wait to get more use out of it.

Well that concludes my post for today, I hope you all enjoyed it. Let me know what your winter essentials are in the comments below as I would love to hear from you.

Thank you so much for reading today’s post. I hope you have a lovely day/evening.

A Christmas Spotify playlist is definitely a must – been playing mine far too much! And that Urban Decay palette looks so incredible! 🙂

It sure is, christmas music is the best kind of music to listen to throughout December! It’s not possible to listen to it too much haha! Yeah it’s such a beautiful palette. Thanks for reading xx
