Zoella Beauty Sweet Inspirations Review

Hello everyone and welcome back to My Blurred World.

I hope you’re all doing well.

Today’s post is going to revolve around the new Zoella Beauty Sweet inspirations range which is something I’m very excited for. Now if you don’t know who Zoella (aka Zoe Sugg) is then where have you been? Zoe is an incredible beauty, fashion and lifestyle blogger/vlogger and she released her beauty range in September 2014. Her latest launch which is the ‘Sweet inspirations’ range was released in early June this year and the range is inspired by the scent of sweet macaroons and french patisseries.

I have been watching Zoe’s videos and reading her blog for many years now and I am always excited when she launches a new line of beauty products.

Now, I know you have probably seen a lot of reviews of this particular range over the past few weeks  but I wanted to share my opinions with you nonetheless as I’ve been wanting to write this post ever since I heard Zoe was bringing out this new range but I wanted to get my hands on all the products before I did so. I just want to point out that I didn’t pick up the beauty bags that are in the range as they were out of stock in my local Superdrug but I might buy them in the future.

I also just want to point out to any of my visually impaired readers that all photos shown in this post are photos of the products that I will be talking about underneath each photo.

I hope you all enjoy today’s post and without further ado let’s get started shall we?

Before I move on to talk about each product I just wanted to talk a little bit about the scent of the range and my thoughts about the range in general. As I mentioned previously, this range is inspired by the scent of sweet macaroons and I can definitely sense that when using each product. As I am visually impaired I tend to appreciate scents a lot more which might sound a bit odd but because of my vision I tend to make use of my other senses more and I find that I can be quite sensitive and fussy when it comes to scents but when this range is in question I absolutely love it! I wouldn’t say that I am a fan of particularly sweet scents therefore I wasn’t sure what I would think of this range but I can assure you that the fragrance is not at all over-powering and it’s just the perfect amount of sweetness in my opinion.

Anyway without further ado, let’s get into talking about each product.

Body Fondant – £10

This product is something that Zoe hasn’t released in her previous beauty launches therefore I was very curious/excited to try something new. I was a bit sceptical about using it at first as the product itself looks quite orange in the tub but I can assure you that it’s not at all orange when applied to the skin. It provides the skin with a nice subtle glow which is very summer appropriate. I’m sure this product will become a firm favourite of mine during the course of summer.

Sugar dip – £6

These are the sugar dip bath salt granules which is another product that Zoe hasn’t launched in her previous beauty ranges. Although I adore the scent (as I do with all the products) I am not sure what I think of this product. The concept to me is very interesting but when I tried these in the bath I wasn’t completely impressed. I believe that I might have used them wrong therefore I will try them a couple more times to see if my opinions change. But I do adore the packaging and the scent as I said.

IMG_2095.jpgLe Fizz – £5

The next product from the range is the Le Fizz fragranced bath fizzer. This also smells absolutely divine. This is shaped like a chocolate bar and I love the fact that you can use as many of the pieces as you want. When I tried this I used three pieces and  it turned the water into a creamy white colour and the water felt soft (if that is at all possible). I just love the concept of this product and I absolutely adore it.

IMG_2101.jpgBath Latte – £6

Next  up is the bath latte which I absolutely love! It provided my bath with the most amazing bubbles and filled the room with an amazing scent. I just absolutely love this product and I can’t recommend it enough.

IMG_2104.jpgDouble créme body cream – £5

Next we have the double créme body cream which is another product I love. This is a body moisturizer and I have been using it a lot recently. It feels very light when applied to the skin but it makes my skin feel very moisturized and soft. A little goes a long way with this product therefore you only need to apply a small amount. I own the body moisturizers from each range Zoe has released  and I honestly think that they’re incredible. They are such great value for money and I believe that each one is perfect for summer as they are all very light in their consistency so they don’t feel heavy as some moisturizers do. For only £5 this is an amazing purchase.

IMG_2092.jpgSweet inspirations body mist – £8

I think that this product is my favourite of the range. Not only is the packaging adorable but the scent of this product is absolutely incredible. The scent lingers on the skin for a remarkable amount of time also which is incredible considering that this product is only £8. If you want to try at least one thing from this range then I highly recommend that you check out this product because I can’t rate it high enough.

That concludes my post for today everyone, I hope you enjoyed it. Be sure to let me know if you’ve tried any product from Zoella’s sweet inspirations range and if so then let me know which is your favourite product as I would love to hear from you.

Thank you all so much for reading, be sure to join me next time in My Blurred World. xox
